That’s right, a steak and potato pizza recipe. And it is every bit as awesome as it sounds. In fact, it may even be more awesome in real life than it sounds. When you’re ready to take your pizza to the next level steak, potatoes, and blue cheese is exactly how to do it.
This is one of the recipes that I developed for the US Potato Board a few months ago. It turned out so well that they decided to serve it at one of the parties held at the International Food Bloggers Conference. There was an entire ballroom filled with other food bloggers who stopped by to give this pizza a try. To say I was nervous is quite an understatement. But to my extreme relief this pizza was loved by everyone. Now is that an endorsement of how great this tastes or what?
I like to make my own crust using this recipe for homemade pizza crust. It’s so simple because the food processor does everything for you. All you need is about an hour to let it rise. It has as super fresh flavor and bakes up incredibly crunchy in all the right places. And it goes without saying that it’s 100% natural. You could also use a pre-made pizza crust if you have one you like.
