Let’s face it, the turkey is, well, turkey – but the sides are what makes the Thanksgiving meal. Everyone has their favorite that they expect to see on the table. I know I look forward to eating more casseroles on Thanksgiving than at any other time all year. I’m not suggesting that you do away with your favorites. I did that once and I’m still trying to live it down. The side dishes below are so easy to make that you could quickly whip up an extra one or two to add a little surprise to your feast this year.
No one in my family is a big fan of sweet potatoes, but I made these last year and there wasn’t a single bite left. I’ve had requests for these again this year.
These little bites are so cute, everyone comments on them. And the kids adore them.
So light and fluffy, with almost no effort. This is an impressive addition to the table.
What are you serving this year? Are you adding new to your menu?
